Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of making numerous friends, personally and professionally. My friends come from diverse backgrounds and possess an array of talents and skills. Some have achieved remarkable success. Others are still on their journey toward their desired goals.
Many have new ideas, bold dreams, quick schemes, and often limited resources. They seek like-minded companions, fellow dreamers, partners in their endeavors, someone to relate to, or someone to believe in them. These connections can open our eyes to the myriad possibilities that exist within each of us.
In this era of increased lifespans, the pursuit of dreams is not confined to the young. It resides within anyone who believes they have something valuable to contribute to the betterment of themselves and society, a legacy motivation.
Regardless of whether one is compensated for their efforts or volunteers their time, one universal truth remains: We all need to feel needed.
This newsletter is a conduit for sharing stories, viewpoints, and insights about remarkable individuals I’ve known or am yet to meet. They have the desire to support, encourage, and contribute time, talent, energy, or possible connections to meaningful causes.
If this message resonates within your heart, then contact me. Please share what you’re currently involved in and consider joining me and my friends by subscribing to this newsletter that champions the spirit of mutual support.
I’ve always believed that too many people, regardless of age, are denied opportunities to share their talents, skills, enthusiasm, or interests. Often, they are never asked, or they are discouraged by phrases like “you have no experience, you’re past your prime, or your experience is no longer needed.”
I’m seeking those who are weary of ageist stereotypes, have unwavering faith in themselves, refuse to accept ‘no’ as an answer, are eager to volunteer their time, and want to have some fun. Together, we can be part of a movement that challenges the status quo worldwide.
Let’s start this journey together!
